The knight actually pauses where he is, having forgotten to keep walking. He looks like he wants to smile, but isn't sure whether or not he can -- whether or not this is as good a thing for Gilbert as it is for Glen, for the rest of them, that in this place if nowhere else, Gilbert may now have another home to come back to. Maybe it's something that Gilbert doesn't want. Maybe it's more complicated than it sounds.
