The knight is disinclined to be sociable. To that end, he ignores her for quite a ways, though he's long since learned not to hope that any Lacie whose attention is turned to him will ever grow bored on her own. After a while, however, he meanders into the city park -- the same one in which Glen periodically fell asleep and got coins tossed at him by well-meaning samaritans -- and loses his patience.
