Lacie, it would seem, is quite a bit less affected than her lover, at the werewolf's plight. After all, he did just try to use her Kevin as a human shield. She doesn't stoop to taunting--given his obvious displeasure, and the fact that he now has to come share their bed, she suspects that would be rather hitting below the belt. However, she does let him dangle for a beat of silence, simply enjoying the view.
